As recounted by Aseem Grover, Volunteer - Nanhe Kadam The buses rolled on at the end of another school day, it was to be nothing unusual except for the buses that seemed to come in rather than leave the school premises. What I could not miss was the shimmer in the eyes of those who had just arrived. The smile on their faces, that seemed to protect them from the scorching summer heat. As important it is to plant a seed, more so is to nourish it. It was a day when Nanhe Kadam nourished an idea; nourished children with dreams of a future; by recognizing and celebrating the efforts of these enthusiastic but underprivileged young girls.
